Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
The short version
Slotora uses only essential cookies — the ones needed to sign you in and keep the service fair. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, which is why we don't interrupt you with a consent pop-up: essential cookies don't require one.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| authjs.session-token | Keeps you signed in | Session / up to 30 days |
| authjs.csrf-token | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| authjs.callback-url | Returns you to the right page after signing in | Session |
| voted_<poll> | Remembers that this browser voted on a poll, to prevent duplicate votes | ~1 year |
Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages — see Stripe's cookie policy.
Browser storage (not cookies)
- Device identifier — a random ID in localStorage used, with your IP address, to prevent duplicate voting on polls. It identifies the browser, not you personally.
- Preferences — small items like a dismissed banner, your dashboard layout, or oras you created as a guest (so you can claim them if you sign up).
- Push subscriptions — only if you turn on push reminders.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working. Clearing localStorage removes the device identifier and any unclaimed guest oras.
